Dear Booster Bob,

I need a booster for Verizon service. They use 850 MHz, 1900 MHz, 1.7/2.1 GHz, and 700 MHz(future). Will the YX510 (Product replaced by YX545) work for all of these including the 700 in the future?

Verizon customer,

The YX 510 will not work at the 700mhz frequency, but Verizon won’t use that frequency for a while. The 510 (Product replaced by YX545) is dual band so it’s necessary if Verizon is on separate bands in your area. ZBoost offers many quality cell signal boosters and you can pick one up from Quantum-Wireless.com, the place for all you booster needs.

The WiMAX 4G from Sprint is already active in some major markets and uses the 700MHz band plus the other major carriers are deploying their LTE networks by mid-year 2010. The LTE networks use the same 700MHz frequency. Will there be an upgrade available or will the 510 become obsolete in a couple of months. Personally, I don't want to spend $250 on a device that is soon to be out dated.
