Wi-Ex Launches zBoost 710 for Custom Installers at CEDIA
Worldwide leader in the signal booster industry Wi-Ex unveiled its new zBoost 710 for custom installers at the Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association (CEDIA) show. The product is designed for both home and commercial installation and creates cell zones in problem areas. A part of the zBoost CI Series, the zBoost 710 reduces dropped calls, improves indoor signal coverage, and enables high speed 3G data functions.
“Our new zBoost 710 is designed for the custom installer market. We have listened to our customers in this area and designed the 710 to meet their needs. With a new ruggedized case, increased gain and availability to only the custom installer market, the zBoost 710 provides customer installers the ability to offer increased cell phone signal to their customers while at the same time experience increased margins and profits,” said Lloyd R. Meese, CEO of Wi-Ex.
Harris Interactive conducted a survey called “On the Go” on behalf of Wi-Ex and results showed that 72% of cell phone users face problems with dropped calls, poor signal reception at home, and dead zones at work. The zBoost CI Series is designed to provide optimal indoor cell signal coverage and improved performance to avoid these problems.
Wi-Ex offers a variety of products in its zBoost product line. What makes the 710 different is its ability to cover up to 10,000 square feet. It works well on both 800MHz and 1900MHz bands and increases signal coverage while decreasing dropped or missed calls. Additional features include extended battery life, user compatibility, increased wireless applications, network protection by patent-pending technology, an antenna configuration system, and 3G high-speed data picture mail.
