zBoost-ONE

Wi-Ex, the leader in the signal booster industry, recently showcased a new device from its product line called the zBoost-ONE PCS at the Digital Experience, 2010 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. ZBoost-ONE is ideal for home or office use and is designed specially to support cellular-based service providers including Sprint and Metro PCS. This device is easy to setup and does not need an external antenna. It performs well in urban areas that are densely populated and have a high level of obstruction. The zBoost increases signal strength and battery life of cell phones, smartphones, and wireless data cards, allowing users to take full advantage of data and internet services on their mobile devices including 3G high-speed data and video, instant messaging, pictures, and more.

Wi-Ex Commissions’ Annual zBoost “State of the Cell Signal” Survey

Harris Interactive found that nearly 70 percent of cell phone users consider their cell phone their essential communication tool. A survey was conducted between December 8-10, 2009 and interviewed a nationwide sample of 2,212 adults aged 18 and over of whom 1,860 own a cell phone. The survey revealed that 67 percent of cell phone owners use data functions on their cell phones, and  of those, 57% experience problems with their cell phone service while using such functions. Sharon D. Cuppet, Vice President of Marketing of Wi-Ex said,

“Our annual ‘State of the Cell Signal’ survey showcases the continued need for our award-winning product line and demonstrates consumers’ increasing reliance on a strong signal for both voice and data. The zBoost-ONE engineering team recognized that consumers wanted an ‘out-of-the-box’, simple solution and designed it. With the zBoost-ONE, you put the product near a window or where there is strong signal and plug it in-now you’ve got signal. No messing around with cables or antennas.”
