The YX545 features many similarities to its predecessor, the YX510. Both are dual band, which means that they’re compatible with both 800 MHz (CEL) and 1900 MHz (PCS) frequencies,and thus with all major U.S. networks excluding Nextel. The YX545 is also wirelessly operated, which means that once you connect it to a power source, neither your phone nor your data would need to be hooked up, allowing you the flexibility to move around your house or office.
