Meraki Single-Radio 300 Mbps Cloud-Managed Wireless 802.11n Access Point (MR12)

Design and Usage
The MR12 Access Point was built for larger spaces as a reliable device without the unnecessary bells and whistles. Best used in small branches or low density deployments, the MR12 is able to deliver high speed access and reliable coverage, sufficient for most demanding business applications and for any number of users. Elegantly designed, with several mounting options to best suit your space, the MR12 typifies the perfection of simplicity.
Combining 1 802.11b/g/n radio and 2x2 MIMO with beamforming transmition, the MR12 provides speeds up to 300Mbps and supports up to 100 simultaneous users. Ideal for small branches or limited deployments, the MR12's broadcast range covers 300 sq. ft. for a single access point unit (50% increase over other entreprise-class access points) and propagates its signal in all directions identically allowing more liberty as to where you decide to install your Access Point for optimal network strength and coverage.

Cloud Management
Meraki's Cloud Controller redefines IT administration. Rather than utilize localized, expensive hardware to store data, these systems operate entirely on a web-based program. From anywhere in the world with any web-enabled device, network administrators can service and maintain every WLAN under their supervision.
Not only do Meraki systems dispense with the need for extra equipment, they also reduce the number of administrators necessary to effectively manage your networks for each location running your wireless systems.
Online Network Management Platform

Meraki's durable and advanced Cloud-Managed Access Point complements their innovative system of network management. With this web-based Network Controller, administrators can manage any network your company or organization owns, anywhere in the world.
The Cloud Controller centralizes all facets of IT management: real-time tech support, ability to review user's details (number of current users, their connectivity...), Access Point functionality and testing of the network's health... The Cloud Controller also runs automatic tests and updates and keeps records of operations, so administrators can easily troubleshoot issues or just keep an eye on the overall network.
In addition to maintaining your networks, the Cloud Controller allows you to control and set all network preferences. Each Access Point can be individually programmed to match the needs of its environment. For instance, while you might want to open your lobby's wireless to all users without any encryption or security restrictions, you might not want the same for the wireless connection in your offices. Meraki's system allows for administrators to manage encryption, content blocking, and other settings all with the touch of a button from one central website.
