LandAirSea

Global Positioning System Technology (GPS) was originally created for Military applications. When it became accessible and available for the private sector in the 1980's, few companies were paying much attention to its potential use in the marketplace. LandAirSea is the company who had a vision, stuck with it, and began developing breakthrough GPS tracking devices in the early 1990's. Headquartered in Illinois, LandAirSea Systems, Inc., has been revolutionary in the development of GPS-based surveillance technology for the past 15 years. Superior design, ease of application, and quality customer service have made LandAirSea the first choice for Government agencies, small and large businesses, and individual consumers. Extensive pre-development research and testing ensure that all GPS tracking units offered by the company guarantee a product that delivers real and measurable results.

Of the 27 satellites currently surrounding the Earth and enabling GPS tracking, 3 coordinate with each other in a triangular mode and in turn communicate with the GPS tracking device. The satellites are able to determine the speed of an object, the distance traveled by the device, and the length of time that it has been stationary. Two types of GPS tracking devices, passive and active, are currently available in the market today and both are manufactured by LandAirSea. The GPS Tracking Key Pro, GPS Tracking Key, and the 3100 GPS Tracking Systems are all passive devices. The Victoria GPS Tracking System is the only active/real-time GPS device available on the market.

Victoria Real-Time Tracking System
The Victoria Active GPS Tracking system records GPS coordinates either every 10 seconds or 20 feet if being used as a personal tracking application. Geo-fencing capabilities, speed alerts, address markers, multiple map controls and driving reports are some main features making the Victoria useful for business, home, family, or personal tracking.

GPS Tracking Key Pro
A passive device, the GPS Tracking Key Pro runs on two AA batteries and records and provides data for up to 80 hours. Its sleek, compact size and strong magnet mount make it the perfect device for a variety of applications. Satellite image, animated street maps, and daily text reports are added data features.

GPS Tracking Key
This miniature pocket sized device is LandAirSea's top seller. It runs on 2 AAA batteries and will last for 2-4 weeks on a cycle when the vehicle is driven for one to two hours a day. It is very popular with parents of teen drivers, law enforcement, and business people hoping to cut unnecessary travel expenses.

GPS Tracking System 3100-INT
The major application of this Tracking System is Fleet Management. The 3100-INT is a powerful device with an internal antenna that has a capacity of 300 hours of travel activity in flash memory. It runs on four AA batteries and offers the user roughly one month of second-by-second recording with average driving.

GPS Tracking System 3100-EXT
The GPS Tracking System 3100-EXT can be installed in trucks or vans with cargo holds and deep engines. The device comes with a six-foot exterior antenna, runs on four AA alkaline batteries, and has data storage capabilities of 300 hours in the flash memory. The device records the vehicle's direction, speed, and stops based on GPS coordinates.
