Spark Nano GPS Tracking System
The Lightning GPS Spark Nano is the smallest real-time GPS Tracking device available on the market. This compact system can be installed quickly and easily without the use of any external antennas or connections. Of all real-time GPS tracking equipment, the Spark Nano features the fastest Time-To-First-Fix (TTFF) for the warm start-up mode. A panic button is also provided on the Spark Nano, notifying the user of an emergency situation via email and/or text message.
The Spark Nano takes only 40 seconds to transmit the GPS location information to the GPS satellites in the warm start-up mode, and even less time is needed to transmit data. It is water resistant, can be fixed anywhere on the vehicle, and includes an optional magnetic case that may be used to lodge the device underneath the vehicle so that it can be hidden. An accurate GPS location within 15 feet of the device is sent to the user, producing the best output by generating the greatest GPS satellite readout. It can give an approximate direction of the tentative location of the device even before it reaches its actual site.
A hard wired six month battery version is available with the purchase of the device and when using fully charged batteries, the Spark Nano is usable for up to six months of continuous tracking. The equipment can be charged using either a USB cable on a computer or a 120V AC adapter, provided with the battery case. Power status of the device can be viewed online and reception of updates can be anticipated.
Another key feature involves the ability of the device to create a virtual geographical area, known as Geo-fencing. By tagging certain zones as authorized or unauthorized, the user will be sent an email or text message to ensure that the device does not enter unauthorized zones. A speed alert is also generated and acquired via email or text message if the vehicle is driven beyond a certain designated speed limit.
Software is not required to establish a connection to the GPS Spark Nano unit and secure access of the Bolt server must be completed online to use the distinctive functions including position location, duration and addresses of stops, speed, and route of travel.
