Wi-Ex zBoost YX510 PCS-CEL Dual-Band Cellular/PCS Signal Booster/Repeater

The YX510 is the most popular product in the zBoost line. It requires minimal set up effort and provides effective cell coverage for all of the various carriers and technologies (2G,3G, CDMA, GSM, Etc.) in the US, Canada, and Mexico. The YX510 does not support Nextel’s Walkie Talkie phones. You can cover a maximum of 2,500 sq ft or 25 feet in a given circle with the 510. It is good for about 4-5 good sized rooms and supports about 10 simultaneous users. The 510 product requires at least one bar where you mount your antenna. It takes the available signal from the tower and pipes it through the RG6 coaxial cable down to the amplifier. The amplifier then boosts the signal and magically you are now creating a cell zone inside your home. This unit also has many upgradeable antenna accessories for additional maximum coverage areas. The best upgrade is the YX039, which replaces the basic circular antenna, with a collection of directional antennas. This upgrade is perfect when you desire larger coverage areas or when you have little to no signal available.
