The Wi-Ex zBoost SOHO 60 dB Dual Band Signal Booster Kit (YX645_K1) is a Quantum-Wireless.com exclusive product.
The zBoost YX610 Ultra edition is the popular YX645 on “steroids”. We bundled the YX645 with other authorized Wi-Ex manufactured products to provide an overall increase of 12-15 dB for every North American carrier (except Nextel).
The traditional YX645 Ultra series utilizes a directional interior antenna to provide its users with cell coverage. This beam width is perfect for long corridor type of applications but not advisable in all home applications. We decided to bundle the YX645 Ultra with an indoor omni-directional dome mounted transmit antenna (YX050). This antenna is mounted on the top of your ceiling in the room needing the most coverage. It covers about 4,000-5,000 sq feet in a circular area. This translates into a coverage area of around 35-45 feet in a given radius. This product has the same amount of boost as the traditional 645, but gives users a circular transmit pattern designed to meet their specific needs. It is ideal for all data heavy phones such as the iPhone, Blackberry’s, Palm’s, and more.

Wi-Ex zBoost YX050-PCS-CEL
The YX050-PCS-CEL is an optional base unit antenna upgrade for the Wi-Ex zBoost YX510 Series which provides additional signal strength in interior spaces and is used to increase the area of improved cell coverage. The ceiling mount antenna replaces the omni-directional indoor antenna and connects to the base unit providing 3 dBi of gain. The antenna is designed to be mounted to a ceiling.
